La ingeniería sanitaria ante el problema del agua

Resumen

Se integra la actual ‘problemática del agua’, conjunto de problemas que tiene la humanidad en su relación con el agua, en el “Año Internacional de la Cooperación en la Esfera del Agua”.

Se refieren inicialmente, a la luz de la historia, diferentes ‘polémicas del agua’ en distintos ámbitos científicos, técnicos, filosóficos y religiosos.

Se describe sintéticamente un catálogo de ‘problemas del agua’ presentes, poniendo de manifiesto que la totalidad tienen respuesta solvente desde la ingeniería sanitaria, pero se constata que, sin embargo, no alcanzan solución adecuada por cuestiones de naturaleza ética, social y política.

Summary

The current ‘water problematic’, set of problems that humanity has in relationship with the water, are part of the “International Year of Water Cooperation”.

In the light of history, to different ‘water controversies’ in different scientific, technical, philosophical and religious fields are referred initially.

A catalogue of current ‘water problems’ is described, making clear that all of them have a suitable solution through sanitary engineering, but it is noted, however, that the solution is not achieved due to issues of an ethical, social and political nature.
