Objectives

  • Edit and disseminate scientific and historical literature related to Medical Science prepared by or under the direction and / or coordination of the Academy, contributing and promoting research, teaching and the biggest and best knowledge of medicine, Health and Sanitation.
  • Encourage and promote meetings between scientists that grow Health Sciences and related fields.
  • Promote joint activities creating intercultural development programs within the Spanish Institute, with other academies, foundations or public and private organizations, Royal Academies of Medicine, Spanish and foreign cultural institutions, to discuss issues of common interest, evaluate research projects, teaching and collaborative health cooperation for that recipient countries, thereby enhancing the presence of the Royal National Academy of Medicine in the whole society.
  • The constitution of the "Royal National Academy of Medicine Prize" in order to promote studies and works contributing in an indicated manner to the improvement, protection and dissemination of Medicine, Health and Sanitation, and especially its application to society in general.
  • Support all activities and functions constitute legally for the Royal Academy of Medicine and cooperate to their support.
  • Encourage the expansion of the activities of the Royal National Academy of Medicine.
  • Collaborate with the Royal National Academy of Medicine promoting and developing all activities that contribute to the improvement, development, promotion and dissemination of Medicine, Health and Sanitation, and especially its application to society.
